Why is Divine Healing from Shame Critical?
The absence of healing from shame disrupts our core identity and relationships, preventing us from fully experiencing the Father's Blessing Connect. It can stem from early childhood trauma and broken social bonds, often leading to a deep-seated sense of being lacking, small, powerless, empty, or just never good enough. Only Christ's finished work on the Cross, guided by the Holy Spirit, can free us from internal shame and restore our identity in the Father’s embrace.
Social shame inflicts deep wounds from losing face on individuals and families, and organizations. Word spreads leading to judgments, mistrust, and toxic relationships. The Father's loving embrace, revealed through Jesus Christ, is essential for healing these wounds and restore our sense of Self, and to be able to thrive in our vital relationships. Without encountering our Triune God as the source of our worth, dangerous counterfeits, such as status, power, and even ministry “success” can end up defining our identity. The striving for human dignity commonly inflicts both the rich and the poor, the “big shots” and “the nobody’s”. Despite the widespread awareness of social shame, the devastating effects of self-shaming and shame towards God remain largely unaddressed, even in Christian communities. The urgent need amongst the marginalized individuals cannot be ignored.
Father's Blessing Restoration Ministry addresses these hidden roots. Through our research-based process of prayer therapy, our ministry facilitators guide Spirit-led conversations, where Jesus leads individuals to the specific memory of childhood wounds, revealing what was said or felt about the Broken Self during those critical developing years. There, in the vivid memories of early childhood shame, Jesus, Our Wonderful Counselor, is present as both Healer and Redeemer, breaking personal vows, generational curses, and demonic oppression, as well as giving fresh hope, restoring what was lost, stolen, or broken.
At Father's Blessing Connect, we have witnessed firsthand hundreds of frontline workers’ lives transformed. These individuals have been strengthened in their relationships with God, themselves, and others. Our resources can support your team's journey to healing from shame and becoming certified Ministry Facilitators. By embodying trinitarian values, your staff can inspire and empower marginalized communities.
